Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Management
Position Description:
The Stafford School of Business at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is seeking an Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Business starting August 1, 2025. This person will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in business through in-person format.
The faculty in this position will also be expected to engage in continuing preparation and study, contribute to the development of our student's growth, and serve the College and community.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, service, and have a strong desire to be a collegial member of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Required Qualifications Include:
- Applicants with a terminal degree in Management or a related field from an accredited institution would be considered for the rank of Assistant Professor, a tenure-track 10-month faculty position. Individuals with a masters degree in management, or a closely related field, will be considered and would be appointed at the rank of Lecturer, a non-tenure-track 10-month faculty appointment. The successful candidate will be credentialed to teach courses in management. A minimum of 18 graduate credits in management coursework is required.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, online course delivery methods and teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and business/community groups.
Salary and Terms: Salary placement is based on evaluation and experience.
