Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:Responsible for teaching chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including but not limited to forensic chemistry and biochemistry; advising undergraduate students; supervising undergraduate and graduate student research; securing research funding from external sources; developing a forensic track and/or plant medicinal track within the chemistry major for the department; and assuming departmental and college committee responsibilities.
Essential Duties Summary:- Teach biochemistry, forensic chemistry, and other chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Advise students.
- Develop and oversee the forensic track and/or plant medicinal track chemistry programs.
- Engage in scholarly research, obtain extramural research grant funding, and publish research results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Serve on departmental and college committees.
- Participate in professional activities, including internal and external conferences and seminars.
- Perform other duties within the range of skills typically associated with a position of this classification in an evolving teaching and learning environment.
- Carry out additional job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range:$53,813.18 - $69,957.00
Education:Doctorate in chemistry and at least one-year Post-Doctoral or professional experience.
