An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Music, Arts & Culture Development Officer to work within the College of Arts & Humanities on a permanent basis.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide senior professional services support and will be responsible for leading on the delivery of the University of Glasgow’s flagship ‘Music in the University’ (MiU) programme; a part of the University of Glasgow’s programme of community and cultural events activity.
Alongside this, the postholder will contribute to the development of a business case and subsequent implementation of a broader University Arts & Culture Strategy and vision.
Establishing and developing relationships with other stakeholders, the role will lead the delivery of a range of strategic priorities and will work collaboratively across the wider University, using MiU and activities tied to the emerging Arts & Culture strategy to engage campus (staff and student), regional, alumni and global communities, enhancing the University’s reputation in cultural and civic spheres. A key priority will be to emphasise inclusivity.
The post is a University of Glasgow role but will work alongside the College of Arts & Humanities Community and Engagement team and other engagement professionals in the University.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is offered on an open ended basis.
