You’ll join the Impact Team, led by our Head of Impact, which is at the forefront of ensuring high-quality evaluation and impact monitoring across the University. About the role
- Innovative Research Design:
- Deliver evaluation projects that span the entire university.
- Utilise diverse research methods such as focus groups, interviews, and surveys to capture insights.
- Project Delivery & Collaboration:
- Support evaluation initiatives across various departments, ensuring a unified approach to evidence-based decision-making.
- Work closely with academic teams and professional services to keep everyone in the loop.
- Analysis & Publication:
- Analyse your findings and support the write-up and publication of key results.
- Turn complex data into clear, compelling insights that inform our strategic direction.
You should have:
- a degree-level education (or equivalent) with a strong grasp of research and evaluation methodologies.
- proven experience in designing and delivering research projects—even better if you’ve led focus groups or similar qualitative research.
- proficiency in analysing qualitative and quantitative data (Excel, SPSS, NVivo – you know the drill).
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into persuasive reports and presentations.
- a proactive, collaborative approach with a creative streak that isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo.

£30,805 to £37,174. Grade 6, per annum
