We have a great opportunity for you to join the Bursarial Office as a part-time administrator (15 to 16 hours per week) to assist the Director of HR with the on-boarding of new starters and leavers, supporting recruitment process and the employee cycle.
Trinity Hall has over 170 employees, 80 Fellows, and 100 workers. The HR Team (currently 2 of us) is looking after demands from both Operational Staff and Employed Academic Staff. We work closely with all the departments to support their staffing demands and employment relations matters.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Solid administrative, recruitment or office experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the capacity to work independently when needed.
- Meticulous attention to details.
- The ability to handle tasks with empathy, discretion, and diplomacy are essential qualities.
- A calm and composed approach when managing challenging situations.
This is for a minimum of 2 days a week on site - Thursdays and Fridays from 08:30 to 17:00 - to meet operational demands (eg. interviews, meetings and HR support).

Duties
This is a varied post with duties to include:
- Assisting in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating communication with candidates including onboarding and leavers.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring all data is accurately entered into our HR systems.
- Providing administrative support for various HR functions, including onboarding new employees and managing documentation.
