Located within Student Recruitment and Marketing service, getting the right applicants enrolled on the right course is key to all activities undertaken by the department and crucial in a competitive marketplace.
In this role you will work with Student Recruitment Managers to achieve annual admissions, student recruitment and widening access targets and support the transition from applicant to new student.
You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of a range of student recruitment and outreach events and activities, including but not limited to: undergraduate and postgraduate open days; offer holder days, selection events, taster days, higher education fairs, student conferences, campus visits etc to support the University to meet its student recruitment and widening access targets.
You will also support Student Recruitment Managers to provide operational reports, management information and market research required to support the achievement of targets across the recruitment cycle and maximise conversion at each stage of the applicant journey.
This role includes supervision of a Student Recruitment and Marketing Assistant responsible for supporting the delivery of student recruitment events and activities.
As part of this role you will also support the recruitment and training of student ambassadors and supervise ambassadors and event staff at events.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with professional and academic colleagues across the institution to ensure events and activities are delivered in line with recruitment strategies and plans.
You will demonstrate a positive, proactive and customer focused approach to deliver an excellent enquirer and applicant experience in all recruitment and outreach events and activities.

This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 12 months or the earlier return of the post holder covering a period of maternity leave, working 37 hours per week.
This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part-time.
This role is campus based for at least 40 percent of your time, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
