About the opportunity
The Faculty of Business, Law and Arts is seeking a Lecturer to join our team, teaching in the area of Information Systems, with a focus on Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated academic to bring fresh energy to a team of experienced educators and researchers.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and innovative teaching in Information Systems, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supporting student success through a student-centred approach across blended and online delivery modes.
- Developing new curricula and contributing to the continual enhancement of learning materials.
- Conducting research aligned with the Faculty’s profile, contributing to publications and collaborative pro
About you
You will be an enthusiastic academic ready to launch or progress your career in a supportive and ambitious learning environment. You will be excited by the opportunity to join a team of established senior academics, bringing your fresh perspective and commitment to teaching excellence.
More specifically, you will have:
- A PhD in Information Systems or a related academic field (for example, Business Analytics, AI for Business).
- A developing research track record with outputs aligned to your academic level.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching in Information Systems.
- A collaborative, collegial approach and enthusiasm for contributing to course and program design.
Salary and benefits

- Full-time, continuing (permanent)
- Located at Gold Coast, QLD 4225, Generous relocation support available.
- Academic Level B. The base salary ranges from $110,611 - $130,814 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $153,052.
