Summary
The Gulf Scholar’s Program Coordinator has general administrative responsibility for the Gulf Scholar’s program. This Program Coordinator exercises discretion and independent judgment, consistent with the mission and goals of Tulane University. The Gulf Scholars Program Coordinator works side-by-side with the Faculty Director of the program in planning all of program activities, organizing and managing the annual recruitment of scholars, organizing and staffing the faculty steering committee meetings, ensuring that the assessment materials are collected and stored as well as creating and maintaining the website for the program. The Program Coordinator will also have support duties in the Coordinated Instrumentation Facility and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree.• At least one year of work experience in an academic or office setting.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) field preferred.• At least two years’ experience in an academic or office setting.
