The role
As part of the Faculty Executive Support Team, you’ll provide high-quality personal administrative support to one or more members of the Executive Leadership Team within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
You will coordinate and deliver activities effectively and consistently across multiple sites, through strong relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure the Faculty delivers its goals and objectives.
Support for junior members of staff may also be a feature of the role.
The post holder will be expected to have a strong customer and quality focus.
What will you be doing?
Supervised by the Faculty Office Manager, you will handle the comprehensive and confidential administrative needs for Director and Board level members of the Faculty.
You will be responsible for organising and overseeing the maintenance of Faculty facilities and resources, to ensure the smooth running of general business activities, engaging with other teams and divisions as required.
Day-to-day duties will include sensitive and confidential diary and mailbox management, domestic and international travel coordination, meeting coordination and support, staff and student query handling, process implementation and document production and storage using the M365 Office suite.
You will also support with staff induction and assist with ad-hoc reports and special projects as needed.
Multi-tasking across different applications and the ability to re-prioritise activity, often within short or changing timeframes will be essential.

- You have strong literacy, numeracy and proven IT skills, including the use of Microsoft’s Outlook, Excel and SharePoint.
