The University of Dundee seeks a Chair of University Court, an individual with a distinguished and successful record of leadership within a large, complex organisation, to lead the University of Dundee through its next chapter.
This is a challenging time at the University of Dundee and the right candidate will be energised by this and have the collaborative skills to be visible, engaged and committed. They will have strong financial acumen and expertise in governance and risk management.
As the University is a values led institution, the Chair must demonstrate a clear commitment to the University’s vision, values and strategic goals. They will be responsible for the leadership and effectiveness of Court, at all times acting fairly and impartially in the interests of the University as a whole.
The role of Chair of Court requires a significant time commitment, initially in the order of 12–16 days per month. The Chair of Court is expected to be flexible and committed to providing leadership as required.
The Chair is initially appointed for a period of three years. The Chair is entitled to renumeration at a per diem rate and expenses reasonably incurred may be reclaimed.
