We are seeking a strategic business focused leader to drive the growth and delivery of the College’s international portfolio. As International Business Manager, you will lead on global engagement, international student recruitment, programme delivery, and commercial partnership development.
You will play a key role in shaping and executing our international strategy, growing income, expanding our global reputation, and ensuring exceptional experiences for international students and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of international commercial activity in line with college strategy.
- Manage international student recruitment, admissions, support services, and accommodation.
- Oversee the delivery of international programmes in Edinburgh, overseas, and online.
- Develop strategic partnerships and represent the college at international events and conferences.
- Manage international consultancy and capacity-building projects
- Ensure compliance with UKVI regulations, British Council accreditation, and safeguarding standards.
- Lead and inspire a team of international and temporary delivery staff.
- Manage budgets, report on performance, and mitigate risk across all international operations.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in international education or commercial development.
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
- Understanding of UKVI compliance, safeguarding, and international student needs.
- Ability to represent the College professionally on a global stage
