We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Technician Demonstrator in Applied Science to support the delivery of high-quality scientific teaching and practical sessions within our Applied Science department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the setup and operation of laboratory practicals for students across a range of applied science subjects.
- Demonstrate and guide students in the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment, with a particular focus on GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) systems.
- Assist academic staff during practical classes, providing technical insights and support.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
- Contribute to the development of new practical resources and activities.
