About the role
Are you hands-on, organised, and passionate about supporting education? Join our Technician Team and play a vital role in shaping the learning experience of our students.
As a Learning and Teaching Support Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our teaching spaces—preparing, maintaining, and managing equipment and resources that bring lessons to life. You’ll support academic colleagues during practical sessions, help students prepare for placements, and ensure our specialist rooms are safe, clean, and ready to inspire.
You’ll be trusted to work independently, but you’ll also thrive in a collaborative team that values reliability, initiative, and a can-do attitude. From AV equipment to classroom displays, your work will directly impact the quality of teaching and the student experience.
You’ll monitor stock, carry out minor repairs, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Health and safety will be second nature to you, and you’ll be keen to stay up to date with the latest tools and techniques.
Whether you’re supporting a seminar, transporting resources across campus, or helping students get placement-ready, you’ll be making a real difference every day.
