Director of Children’s and Youth Ministry Training

The post will involve contributing to teaching, recruitment, formation and development for Cranmer Hall’s training of children’s and youth ministers.

In partnership with the Church of England’s National Ministry Team, we are developing the Incumbent Development Programme which will enable clergy of all traditions to lead churches with flourishing CYPF ministries. The programme gives clergy opportunities to deepen in Christ-like character, grow in confidence in priestly leadership, and develop their skills in enabling CYPF ministry in their churches. It takes place over three residentials each year and regular online meetings, and involves an exciting combination of creative approaches to learning, mentoring support, practical experience opportunities, worship, and fellowship. The post-holder will lead the clergy training programme, co-ordinating and delivering residential elements of the programme as well as overseeing the mentoring programme and all other aspects of the programme delivery.

Lecturer in Mission and Evangelism

The post-holder will teach Mission and Evangelism at undergraduate level and will contribute to other modules and pathways, it is hoped in children’s, youth and families ministry. There will also be an opportunity to develop postgraduate teaching and supervision on both our MA and DThM programmes.

Alongside teaching, the post-holder will work closely with the centre directors to support and grow the profile of one or both of Cranmer Hall’s two research centres:

– The Bede Centre for Church Planting Theology

– Growing Faith Foundation Learning Hub
