Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Director - Business Development to grow our presence in the UK market. This role focuses on selling Edified’s consulting and benchmarking services to higher education institutions, helping them achieve excellence through data-driven insights and strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage potential clients within the UK education sector
Visit prospective clients on campus, at events or virtually to develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers at universities and colleges
Sell Edified’s benchmarking and consulting products to prospective and current clients
Make appointments for Edified’s Partners and Senior Consultants to sell high level consulting services
Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals through our CRM
Report progress to target to Edified’s UK Country Director and Partners
Collaborate with the global team to refine sales strategies and market positioning

What We’re Looking For:

Ideally minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or partnership development in the education sector
Strong understanding of higher education context, challenges and trends.
Excellent communication skills and a track record in business development and promoting positive and productive client relationships
Self-motivated and able to work independently from home
Existing networks within the UK higher education sector
Someone who demonstrates commitment to our values, our collaborative working style and our positivity

Remuneration:

The package will consist of a base retainer along with a generous incentive package. We expect on target earnings (OTE) to be: £80,000 to £100,000
