About the role
The Faculty Research Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Principal Investigators (PIs) and research teams across a variety of projects in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences.
This role will involve providing crucial administrative, co-ordination, and communications support across multiple research initiatives.
As part of the Research Office, you will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, communicating with internal and external collaborators, and adapting to the evolving needs of different research projects.
This role is advertised at 1 FTE, but we are also open to offering the position at 0.8 FTE.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- First degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in administrative support or project coordination including knowledge of budget and data management, ideally in a research or academic environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external collaborators.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to use initiative to address problems and adapt to changing project needs.
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently when necessary.
