Library & Cultural Services are seeking a collaborative and proactive Open Research Adviser to join the Open Research team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting with researchers and scholarly communication professionals.

About the Role:

The Open Research Advisers play a crucial role in making the University's research outputs open access. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the delivery and assessment of open research training.
Conducting data analysis and reporting to measure the impact of our service.
Providing administrative support to the Open Research Manager.
Collaborating with researchers, doctoral students, and colleagues across the university.

This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development and networking. You will use your expertise to:

Develop our understanding of current issues across the open research community.
Maintain up-to-date information on the institutional repository.
Contribute to a responsive enquiry service.

About you:

Key Skills and Experience we are looking for:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Analytical skills and experience with data processing

Hybrid working is offered for this role, where you will be able to work a proportion of time on campus and a proportion remotely. We recognise the benefits and importance of a culture that supports flexible working and are open to conversations throughout the application process.

£27,644 to £29,959. Grade 5
