The role
The University of Bristol is seeking a proactive Security Systems Coordinator to join our high performing team.
As Security Systems Co-ordinator, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the operational excellence of our security systems. You'll plan, organize, and coordinate operations to deliver a high quality, customer-focused service across the University. Your role will involve leading various security systems projects, collaborating with colleagues, and upholding the highest standards of security and safety.
What will you be doing?
- Provide first line support and training to colleagues across the University.
- Assess and audit building users’ and systems administrators’ use of security systems to ensure usage is in line with security, safety, and other requirements and where breaches are occurring, arrange meetings with relevant managers to manage resolution of the breaches.
- Lead on smaller technical and installation security systems projects.
- Investigate, diagnose and rectify system faults/problems, often of a complex nature, overseeing and bringing in service providers and managing contractors to rectify problems as needed.
- Produce reports from statistics and feedback to identify patterns or trends.
