An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Higher Education Champion to join our NEACO (Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach) project team.
This team sits within a wider Outreach team which is part of the Recruitment, Outreach and Events department.
Key duties of the role include working in Norfolk secondary schools to reduce the gap in higher education participation between the most and least represented groups and supporting attainment raising. This includes school relationship management, delivering activities to secondary school pupils, and facilitating trips to universities.
You’ll support young people from underrepresented groups to make well-informed decisions about their future education and work in partnership with other teams and organisations to maximise impact and avoid duplication.
You’ll work alongside the UEA NEACO County Coordinator and central project management team based at the University of Cambridge to ensure activities are targeted and meet the strategy of the partnership.
This includes working with NEACO University partners across the region to collaborate to support young people who are least represented in higher education.
If you meet all the essential criteria in the person specification, we would love to hear from you!
