Starting salary from £26,707 per annum, dependant on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £30,378 per annum
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Media Technician to join the Media Facilities team at the University of East Anglia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and creative environment, supporting students and staff across a wide range of technical, teaching, and research-led activities.
Reporting to the Media Facilities Technical Manager, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities — both on campus in the Media Suite and TV Studio, and at our city-based site.
Key responsibilities include providing hands-on technical support for students and staff, demonstrating media equipment and software, offering follow-up guidance, managing the equipment loan system, and assisting with the maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of media production equipment.
We welcome applications from individuals with a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience. You should have a solid understanding of media production workflows, both in terms of hardware and software, and be confident in communicating technical concepts to users with varying levels of experience.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
