Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join our high performing HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with the high profile and expanding Learning Support department at DCG and make a positive impact for our staff and in turn our students. This role will involve hybrid working, including working across sites according to operational needs, and some home working.

The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with managers to improve performance, embed organisational values, and lead on change initiatives ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and promoting a positive working culture. You’ll provide expert advice on employee relations, pay, and wellbeing, while using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement. You’ll represent HR at internal and external events and contribute to cross-college projects.
Within this role, you’ll also have the opportunity lead on the delivery of a range of projects, such as policy development, process improvement and change management, to support the achievement of the College's strategy and ambitions.

About you
We’re seeking someone with strong HR experience, excellent coaching and communication skills, and a passion for making a difference. You’ll be confident using data to influence decisions and committed to promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
As a proactive problem solver with great communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll be able be adept at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your understanding of employment law and regulations will be highly developed and current.
