Your role as a Catering Assistant - Potwash/Dish Wash
We are looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our Catering Team at Jubilee Campus.
Based within a busy kitchen on Jubilee Campus the main duties for this role will include using the dishwashing machine, cleaning pans, general cleaning within the kitchen area and serving food and beverages as required.
As a member of our team, you will have a positive approach and be a colleague that the team look forward to working with, building strong relationships with others to accomplish tasks and shared goals. You will have an eye for detail and aim to deliver the exceptional operational standards required particularly at busy service times.
Experience of working in both a busy food service area and pot wash/dishwash environment is essential for this role.

There are 2 positions available for this vacancy. These are permanent positions which will attract 20% uplift allowance pay for any hours worked at the weekend. View details of each position below:
Post 1 - Hours of work are part time (15 hours per week), 2 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly Saturday and Sunday between 11:00am-1:30pm and 4:45pm-7:15pm for 34 weeks of the year. Flexibility will be required.
Post 2 - Hours of work are part time (15 hours per week), 2 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly Saturday and Sunday between 11:00am and 7;30pm for 34 weeks of the year. Flexibility will be required.
For the initial Induction training the successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings at University Park.

£23,751 to £24,360 per annum pro-rata. £12.60 per hour. Posts will initially be offered at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay.
